Young, exuberant, talented; Alexandra Gjerpen lightened up the mood at Sandnes bibliotek by sharing some of her life experiences and anecdotes from the past. Quickly taking up steps to success, Alexandra Gjerpen is not just a promising actress but also a very down to earth lady. Though surrounded by several journalists, she was very generous with her time for a detailed interview.

An idiom that most children are not aware of these days, but who is to be blamed? Not children of course, they are exactly following our footsteps. I was recently socializing with a group of young mothers, and their conversation literally haunted me. Arabic poetry verses and thought provoking content echoed in the Sandnes Bibliotek during the Litt Sandnes Literature festival 2015.

Nasjonalmuseets store utstilling Plateomslag. Vinylens comeback, om platecover som grafisk design, åpnet 6. juni på Kunstindustrimuseet i Oslo. Gjennom pliktavleveringsordning og systematisk supplerende innsamling har Nasjonalbiblioteket Norges største samling av norske LP-plater, og flere av omslagene som vises på Nasjonalmuseet er utlånt herfra. I dag byr vi på litt musikkformidling med en god kollega fra Stavanger bibliotek, Jesper Heyn Olsen. Han har nettopp komt tilbake fra en stor hardrocksfestival i USA og har masse interessant å fortelle. Dette er en liten men spennende utvikling av digitalt samarbeid mellom norske folkebibliotek.
